Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions about qontraqt, We’ve got answers!
What closing documents will I receive, and when?
Qontraqt provides all essential documentation for completed payments directly through your account. These include:
Prepayment summaries
Completion certificates
VAT-compliant invoices
If needed, reconciliation reports can be requested under “Documents → Reports.” Just select the time period, provide an email, and submit your request. Reports are typically sent within 7 business days.
Documents are generated based on when the work is approved. For instance, if a task is assigned on August 30 but confirmed on September 2, it will appear in the September report.
You’ll find all relevant closing files and contracts in the “Documents → Acts” section of your dashboard.
How is the total amount including commission and VAT calculated?
It’s a straightforward formula:
Total payment = Freelancer’s amount + Service fee + VAT
For instance, if you want to pay freelancers 100,000 rubles, and the service fee is 6% with 20% VAT, the total amount required would be 127,200 rubles.
When will funds appear in my service balance?
For Russian companies, automatic top-up is enabled—your balance updates as soon as the payment reaches our account.
If automatic processing isn’t available, the funds are credited manually on the next business day. For example:
Payments and processing completed Monday morning → balance updates on Tuesday
Payments made Monday evening (if the bank processes them late) → balance updates on Wednesday
For international companies, funds are usually credited within one business day after we receive them.
You’ll also get an email notification once your balance has been updated, based on your notification settings.
Which tax statuses are supported?
Qontraqt allows you to work under three different tax statuses:
Individual (default setting)
Self-Employed
Sole Proprietor (IP)
Your selected tax status won’t impact your ability to receive tasks—unless a specific client requires a certain type of registration.
Do I need to sign a contract with every freelancer?
No, a single agreement with Qontraqt covers everything. Freelancers work under an offer accepted with our international legal entity, and we handle all aspects of the electronic documentation process on your behalf.
What types of work and services can be paid for through Qontraqt?
Qontraqt supports a wide range of work and services across numerous categories. If you can’t find the specific category you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to us—we’re always adding new options based on user feedback and needs.
